A note from our ministry partners at

Dear Perception Funding Staff & Supporters,

We just finished another busy summer season of missions! We hosted short-term teams all of June and July with our four partner ministries around Peru: in Lima, the Amazon Jungle, and the Andes Mountains. We were blessed with both new teams and many returning teams. We also had three summer interns, who spent their entire summer serving with mission teams as well as leading projects at some of our ministry sites. As we spend some time debriefing and reflecting on this summer, we are continually reminded of how wonderful God is and how much He loves us.

There are countless ways that we saw God at work this summer! One of these is through a church in Prattville, Alabama called Centerpoint. Centerpoint is a team that has returned year after year to serve with our ministry partner in Santa Clara, 1.5 hours outside of Lima. The relationship that is blossoming between these two churches is inspiring. Not only was the local church in Santa Clara encouraged by having Centerpoint join them and serve alongside them in their local community; many of the Centerpoint team members were blessed in mighty ways. This year, Centerpoint brought a new group of church members that included both veterans--friends who have come to Peru for almost 15 years now--and new team members that were traveling outside of the country for the first time. Some of the members of the group were new believers, and God used their mission week to transform and encourage these new believers in their walk with the Lord. It was awesome to be able to witness this. A church member from Centerpoint was so moved by his time on the mission field that he is making plans to come back to Peru in November to join the local church from Santa Clara on a mission trip of their own to Pangoa, a native community where they have been serving and planting a church over the past few years. We are overjoyed to see this relationship continue. This is why we continue to work so hard to build healthy, long-term relationships between churches from Peru and North America. Through mutual encouragement and empowerment, we have seen God bless both sides and use these relationships to expand his Kingdom--both here in Peru and there in North America--in a healthy and sustainable way. To God be the glory!

Muchas gracias!!

Support Living Missions Peru!

They would love your continued prayers for our ministry and ministry partners! Here are a few specific requests:

  • For their partner ministries in Santa Clara (Lima), Pachacutec (Callao), Cusco (Andes Mountains) and Pucallpa (Amazon Jungle) -

  • For wisdom as they walk alongside the pastors and leaders at their local partner ministries -

  • For ongoing projects at ministry sites, that God would continue to provide strong leadership and the resources necessary to make these projects self-sustainable -

  • For the seeds of the Gospel planted this summer -- both  in Peru and in the hearts the team members from North America -- to grow and mature

  • For the team leaders who served with LMP this summer, that God would give them wisdom and direction as they continue to counsel and mentor their youth and adults

  • For LMP staff, interns, and other team members to be replenished with rest after a busy summer

Coming Up!
