Perception Funding's Commitment to Transparency
Perception Funding is a 501(c)(3) organization, and all contributions are tax deductible as allowed by law. Over 99% of our donations are made by individuals. Because of the nature of our ministry, we handle these donations on behalf of our ministry partners, and consider transparency and integrity vital necessities. Perception Funding makes every effort to keep overhead costs low, allowing us to provide our services for free for our ministry partners.

Though we handle a large amount of monthly donations, only a small percentage of the donations are actually intended for Perception Funding's use.

With thousands of donations annually, we understand transparency sets our donors' hearts at ease. Here are some metrics for our organization. Do you have questions about what we do? Check our our Services page, or contact us by filling out the form here (at the bottom of the page!).
2021 Explanation of Funds Raised
* Newly Established Ministries are comprised of Ministry Partners who have begun their ministry in the current fiscal year, for which we don't have an exact budgeted goal. This total is estimated, based on historical data.
** Special Projects are short term projects raising funds for a very specific goal for ministry partners.
*** Give Transform encompasses funds raised for established 501(C)(3) ministries that are not under the umbrella of Perception Funding. Typically these ministries are churches, sending agencies, or other ministries that use our services to provide the lowest price on giving platforms for their own donors, but handle all of their own accounting and reporting.

Do we have independent audits done annually?
Due to the small amount of funds actually allocated to Perception Funding's operational budget (as seen above!), it would simply not be prudent to spend the thousands of dollars required for an independent audit. To ensure we are conforming to accepted accounting principals, we ensure our board members are financially literate regarding our annual budget: able to both articulate the health and effectiveness of our programs, and to evaluate and explain our operational budget upon questioning. Our board approved budget is found in the image above. We also provide our five most recent annual 990 reports here on our website (simply scroll down for quick, easy access!). Our next goal for financial transparency was to provide an annual report that is easily understandable for both our staff and donors during the third quarter of 2020. We accomplished this goal in August 2020, find our annual reports below!
