A glance at our impact over the last month

Impactful Stories With Perception Funding being a unique organization, we understand that it can be hard to imagine what the day-to-day looks like for our team and the ministries we serve, so here are a few things that happened in just one week of September.  Our ministry in Uganda has a large Christian school and because of Covid and their poor economy, families haven’t been able to pay for their kids to go to school which in return means the school can’t pay their teachers. In September we covered the cost of the teachers' pay. This will not only keep the teachers working but provides for their families as well! Our ministry in Zimbabwe has had a sewing program for a long time and it has been successful in teaching people skills that they needed to get a job and even start a small business in order to support the needs of the families. But the sewing machines that we have in Zimbabwe are manually powered and it's incredibly hard to sew and make a living when you have to power the machine yourself. Our ministry raised the funds they needed locally in Zimbabwe to purchase all the electric sewing machines. However, they still didn’t have a way to power them, so we raised the funds they needed to purchase a solar set up to power the whole ministry in the solar operation and we got this funded in September. Our Church Planting missionaries in Eastern Europe have grown really close to a family who has a 15-year-old boy. Recently the boy started to lose function and control over the whole left side of his body and in the remote mountain village the state hospitals didn’t know what to do so they kept delaying it. In September, our missionaries got him to a private hospital in the capital and found that he has a brain tumor and if surgery was possible it would cost approximately $4000 to remove it. The family didn’t have the money and would never be able to come up with it, so we wired the funds to our ministry partner to cover the surgery cost. Please pray for this boy and his family as the surgery hasn't happened yet, as the doctors are trying to decide if and how they can save him. Also, people in the mountain village think that he's sick because his family is friends with Christians.
