Impact September 2012

FUNDRAISING... Each August I’m launched into planning for fall fundraising events and year-end strategic plans and this fall is no different… -Our long time Ministry Partners from Costa Rica are in Kansas City for four months. During this time we’ll be putting on several events as we work together with them to move their ministry under Perception Funding’s umbrella. -Our new Ministry Partner an English Teacher at the Roca Blanca Mission Base in Mexico, will be heading down to the Roca Blanca on September 8. In August we hurried to get everything in place so that she could make it there in time for the new school year. -Olathe Young Life will be having their annual fundraising banquet in October. The Olathe Young Life Committee that Perception Funding is apart of has decided to try to get all the current supporters to re-commit for next year, now. We hope this will allow us to go into the banquet with a majority of next years budget already raised.   -We are also continuing to work on advancing our own website and creating our own online giving platform. It has been exciting to see peoples support for so many different ministries and organizations, God’s hand is at work! PRAYER... For our first three years of existence Perception Funding was a ministry of our local church, Vox Dei Community. In November of 2011 we completed and submitted our 501c3 application to the IRS for tax exemption. Last month, the IRS was finally able to begin reviewing our application.  Please continue to pray for no hang-ups and a quick approval!
