Impact October 2013 Impact The Past Month This time of the year is great for all ministries and non-profits to have a year-end fundraising plan. So, September and into October have been busy with year-end planning meetings with many of our ministry partners.  Also, in the past month our online giving platform, 2give raised nearly $19,000 for our ministry partners. 2give continues to be a huge blessing as it is an easy way for supporters 2give to ministries they love. Impact Story From our Ministry Partner: Plumbline Ministries Perception Funding has been partnering with Plumbline Ministries for more then a year now. Plumbline is an equipping ministry that is training Christians so the Church can be transformed. During our partnership we have trained their seven staff in fundraising, met with their leadership monthly to coach and encourage them, take care of all their online giving and handled all the financial and administration needs for their recent trip to Africa.   Creating a Learning Community... We're here to establish listening to God's voice as a core tool for anyone seeking His Kingdom wanting to walk with Him. The Church is the only hope of the world through Jesus and it is being overwhelmed with demands. While the need is for more leaders, ministry and evangelism, it is often facing burnout, slipping attendance and financial plateaus. The church of Acts faced troubled times amid intense persecution and yet it started a movement of discipled laity that lived and died for their faith in Jesus Christ. At Plumbline Ministries we look to that model of disciplemaking as the key for today.     Learn more about Plumbline Ministries Prayer Praise God for Summer Breeze Benefit Concert On Friday, August 30 we co-hosted the Summer Breeze Benefit concert to help raise funds for our Church worship directors family. Chuck and Kristin gave birth to twin girls in April 2013 and have spent around 17 weeks in the hospital, which means they have a lot of medical bills.  It was amazing to see the turn out at the concert and all the support our community gave the Whittingtons. By the end of the night there was around 750 people there and nearly $10,000 was raised to help with their medical bills. The Whittingtons and Perception Funding are so thankful for your generosity and how the Lord has blessed them though so many of you.  Our hope is to raise even more...
