Impact

The past month

With each spring and summer come many events and this year we helped our Ministry Partners facilitate two golf tournaments and a half-marathon. In addition, we have an upcoming bike race for Littleton Young Life in June and two online raffles (Plumbline Ministries & Golden Spur) that will be going through the summer. So far these six events have raised over $60,000 for our Ministry Partners. These events have been so successful because we have developed training manuals for any type of event or fundraiser a ministry or organization would ever conceive of doing. The unique part about these manuals is that we customize them for our Ministry Partners. We will then walk them through the process, hold them accountable, visit business with them to get sponsors, and we’ll even setup the day of the event and run registration if needed.

Ministry Partner: Olathe Young Life

Over the years Olathe Young Life has had many golf tournaments in order to raise funds to continue to share the Gospel with high school kids in the area. But the Heckler Open Golf Tournament last Friday, May 30 wasn't like any other golf tournament. Sure, there were foursome's competing on a beautiful golf course, awards for closest to the pin, and great food. But around every corner, there was someone waiting to heckle and harass - yelling your name in your back swing and hollering nonsense when you're on the putting green. It was a true test of how good the 70 golfers really were, while having a blast and raising over $20,000 for Young Life!

Current Needs

For continued financial support for our ministry - The Lord has blessed us as we brought Sean Fay on staff earlier this year. Please praise the Lord for this and pray that it continues.
Our home church, Vox Dei Community - all of our Perception Funding staff attend Vox and we are currently at the tail-end of raising funds for Vox's future meeting space. Pray for patience, grace and for people in our community to get engaged.
New Online Giving Platform - We've spent the past few months building out and preparing for a huge new launch of our online giving platform, which will occur during the month of June. Pray for this technology to be a blessing to our ministry and many others and that it is glitch free in our launch.
