Impact December 2012

Year-End Update Generosity begets generosity… This phrase has always been hard for me to understand but this year I have developed a clearer image of the meaning.  Generosity begets generosity means that when we open the door to others, God in turn opens a door for us. This year I have repeatedly seen this happen for Perception Funding.  As we continue to serve our ministry partners, God continues to provide and bless the works of our ministry, which in turn allows us to accomplish more for His glory. In 2012 we have raised over $200,150 directly for our amazing ministry partners, and the year isn’t over yet!  These partners are sharing the hope and truth of Jesus Christ all over world, and many are also meeting the physical, emotional, and educational needs of the people they serve. We also developed a new sending initiative due to the fact that so many of our overseas ministry partners were losing 10-40% of their money because of foreign taxes, bank charges, and administrative fees.  Under Perception Funding’s umbrella we are currently helping fund eight ministries from all around the world and we’ve been able to save them thousands of dollars every month. As of November 1, Perception Funding has a brand new web site! Over the last six months we have researched, discussed, designed and tested many ideas and options.  Our goals were to be able to easily update our supporters, have a way for potential ministry partners to find us, and most importantly to launch a new online giving platform.  We wanted modern, easy to use web pages that ministries, churches and other Christian organizations could use to increase donor giving.  We already have fourteen ministry partners using our online giving platform. We have dedicated time this year to putting important structures in place, developing our board of directors’ roles and functions, and creating a ministry partner application for potential ministries seeking our help. As Perception Funding has added more ministry partners and more services, we have realized we need more help. So in January 2013, my wife Joy will be joining the Perception Funding staff to manage our sending initiative and our online giving platform. This will allow me to continue to meet with our ministry partners and raise the needed funds for their ministries. We want to take time to thank you again for your generosity.  Many of you have given to make Perception Funding possible, and in turn enabled us to be generous to so many other ministries that are doing the work of the Lord.  We hope that each of you have a joyful holiday season full of the richness of God’s abundant blessings!
