Isaiah 40:31 Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Behind the Scenes
We have the great joy of being able to handpick our ministry partners. The Lord has teamed us up with dozens of high quality families, organizations, and individuals who share our passion for furthering the kingdom of God with our God-given talents and skills. But along with the joy of serving Jesus and knowing that they are right where he wants them, all of our ministry partners suffer seasons of great personal sacrifice. Many of our ministry partners are trusting Jesus to bring them through times of personal grief and frustration; just like you, our supporters, trust Jesus to do the same for you.
One of our ministry partners just found out they will be first time grandparents! What joy! They are thrilled for this news, but are deeply saddened that their life's work keeps them overseas, preventing them from enjoying the their grandchild in person on a regular basis. Pray for contentment and peace.
Several other ministry partners are suffering physical illness while serving in areas that prevent them from receiving high quality medical care. Pray for healing and the ability to trust Jesus to provide when it seems there is no way.
Yet another ministry partner is rejoicing at the birth of their son, and soaking up the sweet quiet moments, knowing that their busy season is just around the corner, taking one parent on the road for much of the year, having to provide emotional support sparingly while they wait to see how Jesus works out their schedule to be together while also reaching their missions field.
These are all temporary situations, but we all know that short-term issues can feel very painful and overwhelming. Thank you for loving our ministry partners well!
We will soon be featuring a story on a ministry partner who works in South America, providing sustainable missions trips to churches and christian organizations! If you have been looking for short term missions work that helps more than it hurts, you'll want to make sure to pay close attention to our next newsletter!
