Thoughtful Growth for Perception Funding
Making big and small changes to better serve our staff and ministry partners!
Our Staff is growing!
Perception Funding is happy to welcome Lynelle Hardy to our staff! Lynelle will be joining our Financial Operations team in August. Her addition to our team allows us to broaden our financial services to our ministry partners, and will provide continuity of service during our other Financial Operations Coordinator's maternity leave later this year.

We are currently implementing phase one of a brand new on boarding process for new ministry partners!
This has been a labor of love, and maybe some frustration, as we attempt to think through the MANY steps required in successfully partnering with new ministries. The goal is to reduce the time spent on establishing each new ministry partner - thus reducing the heavy work load of our Communication team; without automating the whole process - thus leaving our new partners feeling like they are just teaming up with a bunch of robots.
Easier said than done :)
Ministry Partner Spotlight -
En Gedi Grove

Jonathan and Hannah Tausig have been in full time ministry for more than 20 years, and have managed to raise 4 really fantastic kids in middle of it all. Serving the lonely, addicted, hungry, desperate, and aching of a Kansas City, Kansas community infiltrated by drugs and gangs has brought the Taussig's to their knees before our Father countless times. And yet God sustains them day after day. This summer they have had the great joy of watching their kids spread their wings in their own pursuits of God and his goodness. And they have watched a few neighborhood boys work hard to start their own lawn mowing business with one lawn mower - pushing it through the streets together, walking miles each day, getting a handful and heart full of the satisfaction that hard work, and perseverance provide. They've prayed without ceasing for men in their neighborhood who have made every effort to escape the hold of poverty and gangs, and they've provided haircuts, and meals, and bible studies, and car repairs to those who need a little help from a friend.
We are overjoyed to be partnering with this family. To learn more about how they are impacting our local area, please click below!

Prayers for our Team
  • Our beloved ministry partner, Megan, of Nueva Vida, and her husband welcomed baby boy Gideon in July! Mama and baby are doing well!
  • Several staff members are undergoing big home projects this summer - prayers for rest and energy for the whole staff are appreciated, as we joyfully give grace to one another!
  • Staff Member Bo T. suffered a traumatic brain injury, along with a host of other injuries, during a ski accident earlier this year. Recovering is going well, and he is very grateful for the love and prayers from our supporters!

As I search for positive outcomes from the COVID-19 pandemic, we might note that our tech skills have improved, or maybe we’ve mastered a new way to do second-grade math. But certainly, other lessons learned could have a longer shelf life, like unexpected opportunities with donors and prospects or adaptations on the fly that actually seem to work!
