A glance at our impact over the last month

A Journey through 2022 It’s been a journey through 2022 for ministry at Perception Funding. As always we have so much to be grateful for as the Lord continues to bless the work we’re doing. This year we’ve reached a new milestone of having twelve employees who work to serve our ministry partners to help them shape their ministries by directly helping them develop the programs and outreaches they’re providing to those they serve. As well as helping them raise the funds needed to impact peoples lives for many years to come.  Six of our team members make up our operations team. This team works tirelessly implementing fundraising plans, designing communication materials from thank you cards to social media posts, handling financials and continuing to improve our online giving platform. Our other six team members make up our Partner Care Team, this team pastors our ministry partners and leads them in the ongoing development of their ministries. This happens through team building courses, accountability, church planting guidance, cultural intelligence education and business sustainability courses. For over fourteen years we’ve been able to help our ministry partners grow through our fundraising training and ongoing mentorship because of the work of our operations team, simply just being in their corner and always being available for their needs. In the last four years as we’ve built and expanded the Partner Care Team, we’ve been able to see our ministry partners have continual sustainable growth. This is because we’re not just helping them with fundraising but we’re also helping them develop and expand the actual ministries. As the Founder of Perception Funding, I could not imagine a better team of employees. Additionally, we love the work our ministry partners are doing, which makes serving them easy for our team as we know lives are being changed as they learn and grow in their personal journey with God.  We have a lot of work and growth ahead. This year particularly we’ve seen a large decrease in one-time gifts that fund the work of our twelve team members. We are beyond grateful for our regular monthly givers but this year has shown us how dependent we are on the occasional one-time larger gifts. Because of our amazing team and ministry partners, there was about six months this year that felt like we were fighting more than ever to continue to exist. I’ve been reminded this year that no matter how we feel or what needs healed, God is always enough! I think we often forget about how present God is in our lives. It’s like oxygen we breath and when you don’t have to think about it or you don’t struggle with it, you take it for granted. God is always present like oxygen, he always loves you and he’s always rooting for you. Life can be hard at times but remembering that with God, you are not alone and you will get through it. You and all of our supporters help me to remember and see this as we press on in this journey.   Your support is funding the work of God, impacting lives and transforming the way ministries operate.
