Year End Prep

The last three months of the year are notoriously busy. This is when nearly a third of all funds are raised for non-profits nation-wide, and we and our partners are no exception. We are especially busy because we not only have our own fundraising efforts to man, but we also have dozens of ministry partners to guide through their year end efforts.

Part of our services to our ministry partners include helping them come up with effective year end fundraising plans. This requires a lot of time and energy for Jonathan and Shilo as they come up with content that teaches and encourages our ministry partners to use these last few months to their full potential. Another facet of our provided services is accountability for our ministry partners. We come along side them by providing ideas for executing effective fundraising, and then have them give us a checklist of their plans for the last three months of the year. Then we are able to check in with them to see how it is going, and encourage them in their efforts.

New Staff Members

Due to our growth over the last year, and with Shilo preparing to take a leave of absense after delivering her twins, we have hired two additional staff members. This feels like a big step toward our goal of being around in 100 years*! Shilo has been working hard to develop effective training materials, and so far training has gone smoothly!

Sallee Gaelle Jack has known the Klees for years, and has previously served on the Board of Directors for Perception Funding, along with her husband Drew, for several years. She has been hired as an administrative assistant, and will be doing general admin work for our organization. She is a quick study, and has already been a fun addition to our team.
Sarah Hartman is a friend of our web developer, Melissa. She will be focusing on imporoving our online content, and assisting our ministry partners with their website needs. She will begin her training at the end of the month. We are really looking forward to being able to put more energy in to website support for our ministry partners, as this has been a big request for the last couple of years.

Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we train Sallee Gaelle and Sarah.
Jonathan has a very busy three months ahead of him! Many meetings scheduled with our ministry partners and our supporters. Please pray that he is able to maintain a healthy work/life balance.
