The Past Month

In less than 5 years Perception Funding has now raised over one million dollars for our Ministry Partners! To be exact we have raised $1,002,914. To celebrate this milestone and all that God has done in our ministry we're going to have a party!

Impact Story

From our Ministry Partner: Liberti Church

Perception Funding has been partnering with Dave and Rivers Partin since 2009 when they left the United States to be missionaries in Budapest, Hungary. In the fall of 2012 the Partins felt called to return to the States and be pastors with our Ministry Partners at Liberti Church in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Perception Funding has assisted the Partins with the entire transition process from plane tickets & shipping containers from Hungary to managing all of their support from donors until their new church is sustainable. As of July 1, 2013 Dave and Rivers are now working full-time for Liberti Church. Below is an update from them written by Dave Partin:

I have started working with Liberti Church as the Director of Community and Mercy and love everything about the task God has given me.

Here is a summary of our last 2 months: Hosted missionaries from China for a week; starting “liberti Kids” ministry K-‐5th graders; starting “liberti Students ministry 6th-‐12th graders; preaching; one-‐on-‐one discipleship ship with 4 men and Rivers with one woman; painted and doing house projects for almost every room on our main floor as we prepare to host 2-‐3 meetings each week; playing in the praise band; organizing with Matt our leaders and home meetings for the fall; building a “Mercy Team” to help resource our church to be more and more missional and outward focused; and trying to meet up with two families a week in the evenings. Our time here so far has strongly confirmed this calling, and we are thankful for all who support us.

Our vision is that in the next 2 years God will use our new church plant to plant another church on the East Shore of Harrisburg to minister to those in our area.

Prayer

Potential new staff, building

We are working on applying for grants to hire a full-time staff person. Realistically, we hope to hire someone by the beginning of the new year.
We are looking for office space. Where other ministries and organizations can office with us, have a training room and event space. If the space allows we would like to have a temporary living space for out-of-town ministry partners to stay. Please join us for praying for this to be donated to us.
