The Past Month

In May we add a new Ministry Partner, Fishing For France. France is a dark place with less than 2% claiming to be Christians. So, Eric and Emmanuelle Tendon and their five kids just headed there at the end of May to plant a church, start a prayer room and a school. The Tendons are a swiss family, who have been in the U.S. for two years getting an education. They have amazing hearts and energy to share the love of Christ. We are excited to be partnering with them and to have an impact on a new country for Perception Funding. Read more about their journey

From our Ministry Partner: giveDIGNITY

Perception Funding has worked with Seth & Andrea Sears, the missionaries who started giveDIGNITY since October 2008 and then in August of 2012 giveDIGNITY became an official ministry of Perception Funding. Here is what Seth and Andrea are doing with just one of their programs.

We believe that God made us to work and that in working we find out who we really are, and how God has gifted each of us in unique ways. Therefore, we believe that finding rewarding work can give us dignity. We're currently conducting a vocational planning program, called Jobs For Life, in La Carpio, a slum on the outskirts of San Jose, Costa Rica. We're helping participants in the program learn more about their gifts, talents and interests so they can make a plan for their work life. We're also instructing them on what employers are looking for in employees and how they can make themselves stand out and be a more attractive hire. Our hope is that they'll overcome the obstacles in their way to find meaningful employment and enjoy the dignity of work.
