Impact Halfway there! Jonathan is halfway through his sabbatical, and the office is still standing! Melissa (web developer), Joy (financial operations coordinator), and Shilo (communications coordinator) have rallied together to figure out a few dilemmas, lean on each other for help when our to-do lists seem a little daunting, listen to a LOT of Disney music, and learn just HOW MUCH Jonathan does when he is here! We have continued to support our Ministry Partners, and even added a new short term ministry partner in April. Though we are excited to have Jonathan back in a few weeks (his empty desk makes us miss him!), our problem solving skills are being honed, and our confidence is blooming with each passing week. The dream for Perception Funding is to be sustainable. That goes for our mission, our fundraising, and our staffing. We want to be able to continue pursuing God's best for us and our Ministry Partners without having to rely on Jonathan for every decision and difficult question. Jonathan's sabbatical is a blessing as it gives him a chance to rest and refuel his passions; it is also a blessing because it is making HIS dream OUR dream. We want to expand our reach for Christ, not only because we trust our leader, but because we are learning more and more how impactful our mission is all over the world! Impact So. Many. Events! Our Events page is becoming more and more useful! We have been working on this page for quite some time, and our web developer, Melissa, has really made it come to life! We currently have 4 events up on the page, each one is for a different YoungLife area that we work with and support. The Events page allows us to show our supporters how we are involved with our Ministry Partners other than just the typical online donations aspect. It also allows our Ministry Partners to sell raffle tickets, sign up golf tournament competitors, and register runners for racing events, all while keeping their administrative costs and man hours to a minimum. We are so excited to see how the Events page can grow and make a bigger impact! Have you seen the Events page yet? Check it out! Prayer Praises & Needs Praise for a smooth April, and for a sense of cohesiveness between Joy, Melissa, and Shilo Pray that Jonathan is able to finish out his Sabbatical with intentionality - He and Joy will be taking the boys on a family vacation - please pray for safe travels and an uneventful, relaxing escape We have a very busy summer and fall ahead of us, pray that our minds be clear and that our plans will bring glory to God!
