A glance at our impact over the last month

A Story of God's Faithfulness One of our ministry partners operating in Central Mexico has been weathering quite the storm over the last 18 months. For privacy and safety, we won't use their names. Their small town has been caught in the midst of a war between three local drug cartels. They have grieved deeply over the loss of life in their small community. It's been hard to watch and love them from afar, knowing that we live and minister in a broken world. There have been glimpses of God's provision over the last few months, but there has been so much devastation, too.  In the midst of all of this, they decided they needed to take some steps to set their ministry up for success and to provide some much-needed security for their community, especially for the youth to whom they minister. They asked Jonathan Klee for guidance, wondering what steps he could take to increase his ministry's yearly income so they could begin dreaming a bit bigger. Jonathan recommended our e-course on Grant Proposals (free to our ministry partners!). They jumped in with both feet and immediately put this new knowledge to work. After writing grants over the past few months their ministry has been accepted to receive two different grants, effectively increasing their yearly income by more than 475%!!!! They will take these grants and build an open-air gymnasium that will allow their local Church and existing archery program to practice year-round, as well as all the other sports their community hasn't had the space to play until now. This is also a space for them to hold all of their ministry gatherings outside of town with privacy and safety for all involved. All of us at Perception Funding and these ministry partners are amazed at God's faithfulness in what seemed to be a nearly hopeless situation. We are thrilled to see how our programs have real-life effects on our ministry partners around the globe. Thank you for your support - it has had a direct hand in improving the lives of so many in this community in central Mexico. Looking to the Future November through January is our busiest season in the office. Because our existing partners require all our energy and focus, we always put new applications for partnership on hold for those months. We have a list of applicants to follow up with in February. Would you please spend a few moments joining us as we prayerfully consider which applicants to partner with, specifically asking for wisdom for our leadership as they make decisions quickly? Each new ministry partner brings unique needs to the table, and our desire is to be able to serve as many ministries as God brings to us, without allowing difficult personalities or excessively demanding situations to pull too much of our attention away from the bigger picture of caring for all of our ministry partners as a whole.   If you know of any individuals or organizations that would benefit from partnering with us, please send them our way!
