There is no medical care in many of the remote villages in the state of Oaxaca. Occasionally, children will die of diarrhea and other related sicknesses which can be easily treated and cured with basic medical knowledge and pharmacy resources. As in the parable of the mustard seed, a little bit of help goes a long way!
The medical team at Roca Blanca, along with the help of short-term medical teams from the United States, have ministered to over 70,000 patients since 1991. Many have come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ through this ministry, and churches have been planted as a direct result of these medical missions, accompanied with the preaching of the gospel.
